Today's Adelita Style Self Portrait: Six Feet Tall!

Today I felt six-feet tall because, well, I was! Remember those Jeffrey Campbell shoes I wanted? I got 'em! I received this special delivery from Cherry and I couldn't wait to put them on. 5 hours of bliss on the sales floor! I wore my "grandmother's couch" with a zippered floral top and Vigoss jeans from Meadow, a darling little headband from Lily's, a layered necklace made of vintage medallions and Lil Star lent me a pair of zipper earrings. I no longer have to be jealous of my leggie bosses. (They tower over me at 5' 10" and 5' 11".) I can just slip these tapestry booties on and look them in the eye.

Seattle is all about layering. This time of year you simply don't know what you are going to get when you walk out the door. Boots are a good bet because I just know rain will be involved and leggings will block out those chilly winds that are bound to blow through the city. I pair my protective "gear" with a fun tee layered over a leopard print tank and short denim skirt. Voila! I fooled you into thinking that I have a Spring look!

Well, finally I seem to be settling in. Here I am in my studio ready for another day of purging with my pooches resting beneath my feet. For this task I am wearing a very comfy DIANNE MEDAK rouged halter top with my 1969 GAP jeans and because my hair is neatly pulled back so I can truly see how much junk I have, I chose a big giant pair of hammered wave circle earrings from FOREVER 21.
