Ahh... the glamorous world of styling. Or in this case, the trashy world of styling. I'm often surprised by what will be my favorite shoots, what will be my best work. I have to say- Joe is it! His dualities are expressed perfectly with a little bit of styling magic; the right hat, the perfect accessories (bow tie and glasses), the perfect hair and, yes, just a touch of makeup to hide the ball-cap tan line. Chanel: Under the Sea

SpongeBob, Sandy and Patrick did not attend Chanel's sea-worthy fashion show but, that didn't make it any less magical. Check out the inspiring Spring/Summer 2012 show. Lagerfeld will have you dreaming of bubbeling jellyfish dresses, clam-shell clutches and coral-reef skirts!

 Justin and I love to play with clothes. Err, I should say, I love to play with clothes, he loves to photograph them. This Fall I can't help but think of design in every sense. What clothes to wear (of course! dying for something vintage), what foods to eat (I'm into pies right now), what to drink (definitely switching to Cabs) and what interiors to redo (it's a stylist prerogative after all.)

Alta Moda presents a very stylized palette of furniture that is somewhat over-the-top. I call it design on crack. Don't get me wrong I am most certainly a maximalist. This kind of excessive indulgence feels so right this time of year. I’m over the moon about the repetitive structure, the need to drape and the sculptural quality of these shots. It’s playful with a dash of grown-up!
