Now that I have you all on Kitty Overload, it’s probably appropriate to discuss when to say when. I think it has more to do with who you are and your relationship to that “thing”. So for my significant other, the overload of Hello Kitty might of happened by my second entry this week. For me, this is just the beginning.

Kanani "Kitty" was a natural for our second model! She not only LOVES all things kitty, (she even brought her own stuffed Hello Kitty) she's a big follower of ViVi Magazine and Popteen! The Hello Kitty Kouture Collection will be available in select M·A·C locations and at Sanrio Luxe in March 2009.

Today I'm a little sad. We, Seattle, had a great streak of beautiful weather and today it's drizzling. So, here's my outfit: EC STAR cashmere-like cardigan with skulls on butterfly wings, a LIBERTINE t-shirt, J LINDERBERG gray skinny jeans, STREETS AHEAD belt- my fave!, DOC MARTINS I purchased on Canal Street in NYC. And in my hair, TARINA TARANTINO black flower anywhere clip, on my wrist, TARINA TARANTINO skull, cross, and heart chunky bracelet. Oh yes, beautiful OPI Russian Navy nail polish!
MAC Cosmetics will introduce it's Hello Kitty color cosmetics collection on MAC’s website Feb. 10, in North American stores on Feb. 12 and into overseas stores in March.
“MAC has been mining pop culture since the brand was founded,” said John Demsey, group president of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. “This is a sexy and innocent fashion line, and a true MAC moment. In these times, everyone can use a little fun — and a little Kitty.”
The Hello Kitty line falls into two collections. First the Hello Kitty Colour Collection items: six shades of lipstick with names like "Fashion Mews" and "Strayin’", each $14; six Lipglass shades, each $14; and two tinted lip conditioners, $14.50 each; two eye shadow palettes, which each contain four shades and retail for $38; two shades of pigment are $19.50 each, and two Reflects Glitter stockkeeping units — one blue, one pink — are $17.50 each. Four Glitter Eye Liners, each $16.50, two shades of Beauty Powder, each $22; three shades of nail polish, each $11; a black mascara, $12, and false lashes, $12, round out the color offerings. A pretty mix of shades any little kitten would approve of ranges from pinks and turquoises to lavenders and greens.
Then there's Hello Kitty Kouture, the high end of the collection. Two shades of Dazzleglass, each $28, each feature a reusable silver chain pendant with Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals on black with a pink crystal bow. Sheer Mystery Powder, $90 and available in three shades and is packaged in a silver powder compact with Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals with a pink crystal bow on a black background.

A HELLO KITTY cloth wallet purchased from ETSY.COM inside are all my club cards, including PCC a local natural market, my 3-D birdy wallet with lots of lip gloss, a BENADRYL (just in case), and NOUBA single shadow #58, pink leather cell phone holder. My giant wad of keys including: HARAJUKU GIRLS key chain, HELLO KITTY keychain, MOO business card holder, LESPORT SAC lanyard, gym card, FRED MEYER card, QFC card, PETCO card, oh yes, and keys! My genuine leather HELLO KITTY black wallet, a pink pen, another HELLO KITTY cloth wallet with business cards, 3 pennys, my CHOCOLATE cell phone, a saftey pen, two hair pins, and a LOUIS DOG poo bag, just in case. Whew!!
